Hello, Compassionate and Resilient Families!
You are dedicated parents and caregivers who prioritize the well-being of your children above all else, navigating the complexities of mood and behavioral disorders with endless patience and love.
Every day brings new challenges, from managing unexpected outbursts to supporting your child through social and academic struggles, yet you handle these with a strength that inspires all who know you.
You’re committed to understanding the underlying causes of your child’s condition, not just settling for temporary fixes. Your journey for answers is driven by a deep desire to see your child thrive.
Your happiest moments are when your family is together and at peace, yet these moments are too often overshadowed by the demands of managing your child’s condition, making you long for more joyful, carefree family time.
But, lately (or maybe for a while now…)
- You feel exhausted from the constant care and worry, wondering if there will ever be a break from this relentless cycle.
- You’ve tried various treatments and strategies, but none seem to sustain their effectiveness, leaving you searching for the next possible solution.
- It feels like you’re always adapting your home and lifestyle to manage your child’s needs, which can be overwhelming and never-ending.
- You just don’t feel the assurance you once had about parenting, even when you try new methods or therapies that come highly recommended.
- Nothing you do seems to significantly change the situation, and you’re left feeling drained and uncertain, wondering if this is simply what you must accept…
If you’re being honest with yourself…
…it feels like you’re on an endless emotional roller coaster. No treatment or strategy seems to bring lasting improvement.
THERE MUST BE ANOTHER WAY!
And if something doesn’t change? You worry that your child’s condition will persist or even worsen as time goes on.
WHAT IF…
- What if… you could see your child thriving, happier and more engaged in daily activities…
- What if... you discovered therapeutic strategies that felt natural and sustainable, not just short-term fixes…
- What if… you could see tangible improvements in your child’s behavior and mood, reinforcing your efforts and dedication…
- What if… you could sustain these positive changes long-term, moving away from the cycle of crisis management…
- What if… you could feel more empowered and confident as a caregiver, boosting your resilience and effectiveness in both personal and professional realms…
…without feeling overwhelmed by endless medical appointments and complex treatment protocols.
HERE’S THE PROBLEM.
Navigating child behavioral and neurological disorders is fraught with confusion and frustration. There are countless treatments and opinions, but how do you choose the right one for your child when it’s hard to know whom to trust?
You’re doing everything possible: adhering to medical advice, maintaining a nurturing environment at home, and trying every suggested therapy to help your child.
Unfortunately, the current medical model often falls short and is dismissive. Many conventional practitioners won’t fully listen to or acknowledge your concerns, insisting that nothing is wrong beyond a standard mood disorder, even when you know it’s more complex than that. The typical response is to prescribe more medication and overlook the deeper issues you see.
Traditional health providers frequently overlook the root causes, leaving you with generic and unsatisfactory solutions like “just give these medications a try.” (How frustrating is that when you know there’s something more going on and your concerns are being ignored?)

Eventually, many parents just resign themselves to thinking, ‘this is just how it’s going to be,’ or they believe that their child’s struggles are just a fixed part of their development.
Who could blame them?
When you’ve tried everything to help your child and nothing seems to make a difference, it’s all too easy to feel defeated.
I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t have to be this way. There is another path.

Testimonials
| In the Spring of 2023, our 19-year-old son began to develop some abnormal behaviors. He became paranoid, delusional, OCD, and developed psychotic behaviors. After being unable to manage his behaviors at home we began to seek medical assistance. That led us to the ER multiple times with two admissions to a psychiatric ward. Advocating for doctors to do more testing to find the root cause of these systems was debilitating as all they wanted to do was dose anti-psychotic medications. After those medications had little effect on his behavior we began searching for alternative care. We were then introduced to Kristi Lorenc, NP, with Rapha Functional Wellness. Kristi immediately began working with us to find the root cause of these behaviors. With Kristi’s assistance we were able to discover and undiagnosed strep infection and mold infection which led to a diagnosis of PANDAS (Pediatric Autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorder associated with streptococcal infections.) Kristi provided us with a course of treatment that allowed our son to begin to gradually heal, calm his nervous system, alleviate any ongoing infections, and combat the inflammation that was occurring in his body. She provided the most extensive, thorough treatment plan that has allowed our son to discontinue the use of antipsychotic medications all through the natural progression of being given a natural individualized treatment plan that dealt with the root cause of his behaviors and not the symptoms. Through her knowledge and guidance of allowing the body to heal with an individualized approach allowed our son to fully gain his independence and become a functional adult once again. He is currently thriving all because of the systematic natural approach to the root cause of his disease. We cannot be more thankful for the unique care plan she provided. She was able to understand his behaviors and provide the right course of treatment to help him heal. We will be forever grateful for her care of our son. – E. W. |
Introducing…

Heal Neuro-Inflammation
Welcome to Heal Neuro-Inflammation, a dedicated pathway to healing and enhancing brain health for children experiencing conditions like PANS, PANDAS, ADHD, Autism, and mood disorders. Our 5-month Functional Medicine Program is designed to uncover the root causes of your child’s health and mood disorders, aiming to restore their true self and return joy to their lives. We utilize the principles of functional medicine to reduce neuroinflammation and support each child’s journey towards improved well-being and brighter futures.
WHY IS the Heal Neuro-Inflammation Program DIFFERENT?
Our Heal Neuro-Inflammation Program focuses on a comprehensive approach, healing your child’s body by addressing neuro-inflammation linked to conditions like ADHD, autism, and mood disorders. We employ extensive functional medicine testing to investigate nutritional deficiencies, infections, and toxicities—including mold, environmental factors, and heavy metals.
The program combines targeted dietary strategies and a customized supplement protocol that considers your child’s unique health needs. This way, we address the real reasons behind their health challenges without wasting time or resources on ineffective treatments.
Our Baseline Protocol
In our Heal Neuro-Inflammation Program, we conduct comprehensive tests to get a full picture of what might be affecting your child’s health:
- Strep Tests: We check for strep infections with two types of tests: the ASO titer and the anti-DNAse B strep antibody test.
- Immune Response Tests: We measure the IgG and IgM antibodies to see if the immune system is responding to certain infections.
- Virus Screening: We test for a variety of viruses that include:
- Herpesviruses 6, and herpes simplex viruses 1 and 2,
- Parvovirus B19, which can cause fatigue and joint pain,
- Coxsackieviruses A and B, which can lead to conditions like hand, foot, and mouth disease,
- Cytomegalovirus (CMV), and
- Epstein-Barr virus, which is associated with several conditions, including mono.
- Lyme Disease Test: We use the Western blot test for Lyme disease to check for antibodies against this tick-borne illness.
- Bacterial Diseases:
- We also test for immunity against measles, mumps, and rubella.
- Mycoplasma pneumoniae, which often affects the lungs.
- Gut Health Analysis: The GI Effects stool test helps us understand the health of your child’s gut, looking for imbalances, signs of infection, and issues with absorbing nutrients.
- Toxin Exposure Tests: With the Vibrant Wellness Triple Toxin Test, we look for exposure to mold, environmental toxins, and heavy metals, all of which can impact your child’s health.
- Genetic Markers: MTHFR and COMT which affect how your child detoxes. These genetic conditions cause major mood disorders
- Nutritional Deficiencies: Vitamin D, Vitamin A, Vitamin B12, folate, magnesium, zinc, selenium, Vitamin A, and omega fatty acids. We also can do a more extensive lab called the Nutraeval by Genova which gives all the mineral and vitamin deficienies.
These tests help us uncover any hidden health issues so we can tailor a healing approach specific to your child’s needs.

How It Works…
The first inital assessment appointment lasts up to 60 minutes. This allows us to get to know the childs history and family dynamics, review past medical documents, and order the missing pieces.
Our 1:1 sessions can last up to 60 minutes. This gives the providers time to evaluate and educate the family on appropriate protocols.
We utilize Fullscripts to give straight forward directions on what supplements to use, what dose to take, and how long to take it.
We provide a detailed supplement/med list to everyone is on the same page as to when to take each product.
We may use the Safe and Sound Protocol to help heal your childs autonomic system which decreases anxiety and mood disorders.
What if I can’t Afford it?
We offer payment plans over the 5 months to make this doable for families. We understand that health care is expensive and a lot of these services are not always covered by insurance companies. We strive to order labs that your insurance company will cover. We are also mindful in our ordering and only order what is neccesary to find the issue in your child.
With each visit with us we will provider you with a superbill. A superbill is a document that you can send to your insurance company to get reimbursement for out-of-network providers. We recommend using Reimbursify, which is a company that will process your claim and deal with insurance so you get your money back.
We also Accept HSA and Flex cards so you can use this money to pay for our services. Most of the functional testing and supplements also accept this payment.
